Fire & Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises through the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire detection and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, commission, and maintain fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems according to industry standards and regulations.
- Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fire and security systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to diagnose and resolve issues with fire and security systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the operation and maintenance of fire and security systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, equipment inventory, and service reports.
Requirements- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in installing and maintaining fire detection and security systems.
- Thorough understanding of fire safety regulations, security industry standards, and relevant British and European standards.
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting various fire and security system components, including detectors, control panels, cameras, and access control devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire and Security Engineering (e.g., FIA, NSI, BAFE) are highly desirable.
- A valid UK driving license is required.
