What you will be doing:
- Training groups of delegates in Firecraft in both classroom and practical environments
- Instructing mostly in Breathing Apparatus, Fire Behaviors Training and Tactical Ventilation
- Ongoing assessment of delegates
- Acting as Safety Officer during live fire exercises - always promoting a positive attitude towards the development and maintenance of Health and Safety culture
- Accredited Breathing Apparatus (BA) Instructor (Essential)
- Accredited Fire Behavior Training Instructor (FBTI) (Desirable)
- Previous teaching experience within firefighting
- Previous experience in local authority Fire & Rescue Service is desirable
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of IT Systems experience (MS Office)
