Fire Suppression/Sprinkler Pipe Fitters, Electricians, Alarm Techs with IPAF Op
Completing work on specialised fire suppression systems, on office buildings, data centres, factochemical plants, petrochem refineries etc.
Working on industrial & commercial specialised pipe work & fire suppression & sprinkler systems. Fabrication & installation of 6 to 12mm to 28 mm pipe work mainly. Working on specialised small bore pipe work, plus other types. Which can be Maypress, Compression type fittings & pipe work systems. Must be able to measure, mark up and bend pipe to tight tolerances. Using hand Benders & Machine Benders.
Also working on screwed & fabricated pipe work systems, if required.
Plus fitting valves and pumps etc.Pipe Fitter. Completing work on Piping & Mechanical Systems, plus specialised fire suppression systems, on office buildings, chemical plants, petrochem refineries etc. Working on industrial & commercial specialised pipe work & fire suppression & sprinkler systems.Fabrication & installation of 12mm to 80mm pipe work mainly.Working on specialised small bore pipe work, plus other types.
Must be able to measure, mark up and bend pipe to tight tolerances.
Using hand Benders & Machine Benders. Also working on screwed & fabricated pipe work systems, if required. Plus fitting valves and pumps etc. Also working on vessels, tanks etc. Pipe Fitters Mate - IPAF Op Assisting with the fabricatiuon & installation of small bore pipe work.Fitting brackets. Keeping work areas clean & tidy.
Hours of Work = 0700 to 1700 plus overtime as required Mon to Fri plus weekends if required
Skilled Pay = GBP22 to GBP24 + per hr Mon - Fri, then over 60 hrs GBP25 to GBP27 + Sat and GBP28 + Sun - Depending on skills/quals/role ! Semi Skilled Pay = GBP17 + hr
Term of Work = 6 - 26 weeks +
Quals = C&G or NVQ 3 Pipe Fitting or Mechanical Fitting etc
Safety Cards/Certs = CSCS Card, or ECITB Safety Passport, IPAF or MEWP Card
Ideally with SSSTS Card or IOSH
Ideally with Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Fire Watching
Any of these would be a big plus
