Recruiting a hardworking, reliable Kitchen Manager with proven experience for a street food unit at Dreamland in Margate

Duties include day-to-day kitchen operations including stock management, food safety compliance, set up and clean down, food prep, cooking, serving customers, staff management.
This is a fast paced, customer facing environment. Applicants must have experience in a similar sector, with both Kitchen and Front of House experience preferable.
Good rate of pay for right candidate, potential bonuses based on sales.
The unit is open every weekend from 29th March until 1st September, and every day between the following dates
29th March - 14th April
27th May - 2nd June
27th July - 1st September
(candidates must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends and have availability over these dates)

Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies as needed
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, street food our restaurant setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 60 per week

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
