Our client a leading architectural and structural Steel Fabrication company dedicated to turning creative designs into tangible structures. With a commitment to excellence and precision, we take pride in delivering top-quality steelwork solutions to our clients. As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Architectural Steelwork Fitter to join our growing team.

As an Architectural Steelwork Fitter will be an integral part of the production team responsible for assembling and installing custom architectural and structural steelwork. Working closely with project managers and collaborating with fellow craftsmen, you will play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life through the fabrication and installation of high-quality steel structures.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from detailed architectural and engineering drawings.
• Assemble, fit, and install structural and architectural steel components.
• Use hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery to fabricate and fit steelwork.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in the alignment and assembly of steel structures.
• Collaborate with the draughtsman and other team members to resolve technical issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all phases of the fabrication and installation process.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an architectural steelwork fitter.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Skilled in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in Steel Fabrication and installation.
• Relevant certifications in welding or Steel Fabrication would be an asset.
