The Home to School Transport Fleet Assistant is responsible for managing the safe and efficient transportation of students between their homes and schools.
The Home to School Transport Fleet Assistant is a key position that requires strong organisational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
As a Fleet Assistant responsible for looking after vehicles, your primary focus will be on ensuring that all vehicles in your fleet are well-maintained, serviced, and repaired promptly when necessary. You may also need to source parts for vehicles from scrapyards to keep your fleet running efficiently and cost-effectively.
The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.
As a Fleet Assistant for Home to School Transport, you would have several key responsibilities related to budget, motivation, safety, and liaising with mechanics. Additionally, you may need to establish new relationships with mechanics to ensure that your fleet is well-maintained and operates efficiently.
