Role:Teaching Assistant
Location: Various locations across Bristol
Working Days: Flexible (1-5 days a week)
Working Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract Type: Temporary/Flexible
Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing exceptional academic and emotional support to children in different educational settings.
- Supporting students of various ages and abilities.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Conducting boosters and intervention groups to assist students who require additional support.
- Offering one-on-one support for reading activities.
- Assisting with lunchtime supervision and ensuring the well-being of the children.
- Supporting and accompanying students on school trips.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in supporting children both academically and emotionally.
- A strong desire to make a positive impact on children's lives and contribute to their personal development.
- Preferably, experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff.
- Creativity and imagination to engage children in innovative learning activities.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the unique needs of each child.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).

Remuneration
The salary for this position will be competitive and will depend on the hours worked and specific assignments. The minimum trainee daily rate starts from £80 a day.
