We are recruiting for a skilled Flight Efficiencies Specialist to join us and make a real impact on optimizing fuel consumption, reducing emissions, and streamlining operating costs.

As a Flight Efficiencies Specialist, you will be a vital member of our business, working closely with the Flight Operations Team. Reporting to the Aircraft Performance & Flight Efficiencies Manager. You will play a key role in reporting on flight efficiency initiatives and driving our commitment to sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

This role involves supporting the implementation and management of Flight Efficiencies Reporting Systems, monitoring and analysing fuel and flight efficiency data. You will identify and promote efficiencies in routes, airports, and aircrafts while assessing industry innovations for efficiency initiatives. Part of this role is to develop and deliver management reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance uptake of initiatives within the Flight Operations Community.

Requirements of the Role


What you need to do this role

You will have proven analytical experience working with large amounts of technical data, preferably in the aviation industry. Familiarity with SQL and Python is considered a distinct advantage. You will need to be super organised with an excellent eye for detail, even under pressure. The ability to engage and collaborate with other teams to drive innovation and efficiency is essential. You should be able to demonstrate that you are proactive, resilient and capable of managing tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Additionally, desirable qualifications include a degree in an aviation-related subject, particularly aeronautical engineering. Experience in Flight Operations, including Aircraft Performance and Navigation, is advantageous.

Location & Hours of Work

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Hybrid working is available with a minimum requirement of 2 days at Luton Airport.
