Our client is a leading employer in the local area. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Flight Operations Analyst to work for a growing company within the travel industry.
Responsibilities: Flight Operations Analyst
- Analyse all flight operational data relating to aircraft, including but not limited to, continuous descent operations, flight operational trials, noise and track monitoring and complaint data.
- Produce regular noise contours (in both AEDT and INM) for monitoring compliance with our planning conditions.
- Manage all flight operational trials, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders, completing the data analysis and producing external reports.
- Support the noise monitoring programme and calibrations, working as part of a team and third parties to ensure these are installed/collected in a timely manner.
- Collate, produce and where necessary design routine reports (such as the Quarterly Monitoring reports and Annual Monitoring Reports) and be accountable for their accuracy, analysis, executive summary, commentary and timely delivery.
- Produce detailed ad-hoc analysis on airspace performance areas.
- Support delivery of airspace change proposals by collating and analysing data, including consultation responses and noise monitoring data and where necessary produce reports.
- Prepare presentations and data analysis to respond to queries relating to operational performance both internally and for use at community/stakeholder forums.
- Conduct daily monitoring of flight performance data, identifying any areas of poor performance and communicating these to the relevant operators, applying sanctions for violations where required.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required, including attending public surgeries, airspace consultation events and local airspace infringement meetings.
- Provide detailed analysis on complaints when required.
- Support the delivery of the targets from the Noise Action Plan and noise planning conditions.
Knowledge / Experience: Flight Operations Analyst
- Strong analytical skills using MS excel
- Proven ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and high standards in the delivery of timely outputs
