Salary - c £37,000 (basic plus variable shift pay, and bonus)
Hours: 37.5h - Full time required, 100%
Flight Operations Dispatcher Duties:
- To assume responsibility for the Flight Operations activity of the flight to which allocated, to ensure Cobalt meets and exceeds the required standards of customer satisfaction, quality standards, performance targets and health & safety standards to ensure overall customer satisfaction in combination with operational cost efficiency.
- Accountable for the co-ordination of Flight Operations activity of the specific flights to which allocated during the shift in order to meet all operational and service commitments (i.e. service standards as specified in the SLA or defined in practice, on time performance and delay recovery) in the most cost effective manner ensuring that all airline customers, Cobalt, HAL and other relevant procedures are met and without compromising health & safety and security regulations.
- Safety, Security and On Time Performance being the most important focus areas, expected to actively oversee the flight with these areas at uppermost priority.
- Oversee adequate service execution in all areas of Flight Operations (flight handling process, pre flight preparation, crew briefings, optimum aircraft turnaround, liaison with ATC, weight & balance where required etc), reporting any issues to the Duty Officer or Duty Manager as appropriate.
- Educated to 'A' level standard or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of company procedures of all customer airlines.
- Proven leadership skills in order to drive the turnaround in a proactive and timely manner
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work in a difficult and demanding environment
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Document confirming your right to work in the UK, for example a passport (original copy if you are shortlisted for interview) and all relevant Home Office documents if applicable
- Proof of your NI number - a payslip from the last 3 months or a P60 from your employer for the last tax year
- If you have a DBS dated within the last 10 weeks
- Your HMRC 5 Year History letter - obtained on HMRC website or HMRC app
