Role: Floor Manager, Fashion Retail

Location: Manchester, Arndale

£27,000 basic + benefits

The role of Floor Manager:

As a retail Floor Manager, you’re responsible for supporting the brand leader and store manager in managing and motivating your team to deliver an exceptional brand experience to our customers. Leadership of the team of stylists will be a key part of how you spend your time, coaching and supporting team members with the motivation to succeed and deliver sales targets, as well as exceptional service that makes our customers feel amazing.

As a Floor Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Spending most of the day on the shop floor, trading with stylist teams and ensuring smooth processes.
  • Ensuring customers receive the best in-store experience.
  • Overseeing and leading support for the stylist team on first-line customer queries, emails, chats, and calls via the online service system.
  • Collaborating with customer experience team leaders to manage KPIs and SLAs for online support.
  • Acting as an expert ambassador for the product, inspiring both in-store and online customers and the team.
  • Being commercially driven to display products effectively, following guidelines and highlighting best-sellers.
  • Managing day-to-day operations, team deployment, and ensuring stylists receive necessary support and coaching.
  • Working with the management team to help the store exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Handling people matters, such as return to work interviews, liaising with HR, conducting investigations, and managing performance/attendance.
  • Creating and implementing floor plans and rotas, setting the store up for success each day.

About the location

Our Arndale, Manchester store has been open since 2019 and usually trades from 10:00am - 19:00pm (subject to seasonal change). Our store is one of a handful of stores in the UK with a modern design and aesthetic, making it very unique to our customers. Our team loves to keep up to date with fashion trends and enjoy being creative.  Store location: Approximately a 15 minute journey from Manchester Piccadilly station.
