We are currently seeking an experienced Flooring Contractorto join an extremely reputable, family–run SME based in Horndean. Our client is the leading supplier to professional equestrian yards across the UK and provides an extensive range of products to the equestrian industry, they are looking to expand their team to supply and fit their ever growing product range.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Flooring Contractor:
- Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans.
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Trim and finish edges of flooring to ensure a clean and professional look
- Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and blueprints
Requirements
- Knowledge of flooring systems
- Good attitude, pride in your work and being well mannered is essential
- CSCS Card
- Own tools and vehicle
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Professional, driven and highly organised
- Physically fit
Benefits
- Salary: GBP150 to GBP300 day rate
- Must be prepared to travel for work within the UK
