Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Floor Layer to join our team, specializing in social housing projects. As a Floor Layer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of flooring installations in various social housing developments. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Installing a variety of flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, laminate, and linoleum in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Preparing subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and applying necessary treatments to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of flooring materials.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, trim, and install flooring materials with precision.
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues related to flooring installations promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer, preferably with a focus on social housing projects.
• Proficiency in installing various types of flooring materials and knowledge of appropriate installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents related to flooring installations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet project requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as needed.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
