FLT Counterbalance

The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver/Yard Operative for our established and well respected client based in Lazenby, TS10.
The role:

• FLT dry bulk around site.
• Assisting in the loading and unloading vehicles.
• Cleaning, lining and filling containers.
• Adhering to all Health & Safety policies.
• Other duties as and when assigned by the manager.

Candidate requirements:

• Must have a recognised in date forklift licence (Counter balance)
• Reach and Stacker experience would be of benefit.
• Must have driving licence, will need to move vehicles around site.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Able to follow instructions and complete documentation if required.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to carry out manual work - including some heavy lifting.

Hours of work:

Shifts will rotate between:

• 12 hour shifts: 4 on / 4 off
• 06.00am - 18.00pm (Days) &
• 18.00pm - 06.00am (Nights)

Pay Rate:

• £10.79 per hour rising to £11.63 after additional certification on machines.

Own transport is desirable but not essential due to the location.
