Since their establishment over 160 years ago, they have become a household name within a number of high-profile industries including Oil & Gas and Power Generation, and now employ over 15,000 people across 180 facilities world-wide. Because of heightened workload, this employer is actively searching for a FLT Driver to join their team on a contract basis.
Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful FLT Driver can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.
For the FLT Driver position, we are keen to hear from individuals who possess the following:
- Working as part of the Logistics team, responsible for the movement of heavy machinery, components, tooling and equipment associated with the manufacturing process
- Safely & effectively operating a Forklift Truck (Counterbalance), overhead cranes and other material handling & lifting equipment
Working Hours of the FLT Driver:
37 Per week spread across a day shift pattern:
- Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 15:30
- Friday – 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the FLT Driver will receive:
- Pay Rate: £14.72 per hour
- Overtime: Frequently available paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only)
- Holiday Allowance: 33 Days
- Assignment Duration: 12 Months (often extended and sometimes offered permanent, but not guaranteed)
