FLT Drivers –Reach and VNA

Monday – Friday (Choice of Shifts Available)

2 shifts Rotating (6am-2pm -  £11.66 per hour / 2pm-10pm - £13.41 per hour)

This is a full-time position.

Our client is looking to recruit a number of FLT Drivers due to business demand. You will be driving powered industrial trucks to load, unload and move the stock and deliveries to various locations in the warehouse, such as storage areas, loading docks etc. You need to be observant, have excellent attention to detail as this is a demanding job which requires good focus, stamina and organisation skills.

Internal assessment, which includes practical and written tests must be passed before your assignment can start. You would need to have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and independent, safety conscious and be able to work in a fast pace and busy environment.

Previous FLT driving experience is essential, and ideally you will have an in date FLT licence (ITSAAR or equivalent), however In-house licenses and/or out of date licenses will also be considered.

Duties will include:

• Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, racking etc following inventory control instructions
• Ensure loads are secure
• Complete paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested
• Scan the pallets and keep accurate record of stock movement (training will be provided)
• Make sure the truck is operating safely and checked daily
• Report any breakdowns, spills or malfunctions to the Manager
• Assist with other loading activities as requested

This is a temporary to permanent vacancy.
