FLT / Saw Operative

Previous experience within the metal industry and operating cutting machinery such as; band and plate saws along with a valid FLT Counterbalance/Reach licence and experience.

Duties:

• Setting band and plate saw machines.
• Cutting metal materials to correct sizing.
• Moving materials around the warehouse using FLT counterbalance and reach
• Picking/packing orders
• Loading/unloading deliveries
• Keeping the yard and workstations clean and tidy.
• Adhering to health and safety policies
• Occasionally delivering orders to customers.
• Any ad hoc duties deemed fit by your manager.

Requirements:

· Previous experience using band and plate saw machines.

· Ability to read drawings.

· FLT Counter and Reach licence.

· Full UK drivers' licence.

· Reliable and flexible with a positive and friendly personality

· Good computer, numeracy, and literacy skills
