Salary: £12.48 per Hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
We are currently seeking a skilled Food and Hospitality General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and will play a crucial part in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards within our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve breakfast and lunch to customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient service.
- Operate the till accurately and handle cash transactions with professionalism.
- Monitor and replenish stock in the shop, ensuring items are well-presented.
- Wash dishes and utensils, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
- Perform general cleaning duties at the end of each shift to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment for customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing smart clothing and safety shoes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar food service or hospitality role.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience operating a till and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to adhere to dress code requirements, including wearing smart clothing and safety shoes.
- Reliable and punctual.
