As a Food and Beverage Server at a South Indian restaurant, your role is to provide excellent customer service while assisting guests with their dining experience. Here's what your responsibilities typically include:

• Taking Orders: Take Food and Beverage orders from guests, making note of any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Menu Knowledge: Have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings, so you can answer any questions guests may have and make informed recommendations.
• Serving Food and Drinks: Deliver Food and Beverages to guests' tables promptly and accurately, ensuring that orders are correct and complete.
• Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks, to enhance guests' dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep your section of the dining area clean and tidy, including clearing empty plates and glasses, wiping down tables, and resetting them for the next guests.
• Handling Payments: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and thank them for their patronage.
• Handling Complaints: Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management if needed to resolve issues satisfactorily.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and efficient communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Upskilling: Continuously improve your knowledge and skills through training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities to provide the best possible service to guests.
