Strand Palace is looking for a Food and Beverage Cost Controller  to manage the day-to-day operation of F&B Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Track food and beverage sales, expenses, and waste to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the goods receivers and Accounts Payable
• Carry out stock takings and monitor stock levels and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate stock and highlight discrepancies between sales & purchases
• Establish and enforce cost control measures to ensure profitable food and beverage operations.
• Develop and implement menu pricing strategies in accordance with market trends and customer preferences.
• Train and supervise staff in proper handling, storage, and usage of food and beverage items
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce regular reports for management.

• Have proven experience in a similar position
• Have an excellent understanding of General Accounting Principles
• Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task
