Role: Food Production Operative

Rate of Pay: 5% above National Minimum Wage

Contract available: Permanent, 20 hours per week, full flexibility is required between the hours of 7am and 5pm.

About you

As a Food Production Assistant you will be the heart of our brand and ensure that you give your all to ensure our guests receive the best quality product every time. You will work alongside the production team and produce high quality and large volumes of products for our stores across the North west of England and staffordshire. Using ingredients which are sourced from local and independent suppliers who support the local economy but also ensure we receive fresh, high quality produce.

What will you bring?

• You will produce high quality products which are delivered every night to our stores.
• You will have strong commitment to teamwork and communication
• You will have the ability to be safe in all Food Production and ensure all standards are followed.
• You will be used to working to high standards and have a good eye for detail.
• You will work in various roles and be split across prep, organising and making products in mass, preparing and packing products ready for stores on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• To produce good quality products which are delivered to all our stores overnight.
• Produce current fresh product range to an excellent standard
• Ensure safe food preparation and service, the correct storage & labelling of food and produce products to the recipe specifications provided.
• To be a good communicator within the business.
• Clean thoroughly always and ensure routine cleaning is completed
• Compliance to food hygiene and safety standards is paramount. We pride ourselves on quality and control.
• To use all the systems and processes set out by the company.
• To record all relevant checks and information on our iauditor system
• Carry out production tasks set out for you by your Kitchen Manager

Experience Required

• Previous experience working in a Food Production environment would be advantageous but not necessary as full training is given.
