Our Client are a family run meat processor with a state of the art factory opened in 2020. Due to the business growth and investment they are looking for a number of Production and Cold Store Operatives to join their expanding team.
We would also advise any chefs / kitchen staff looking for more sociable working hours to apply.
Production Operative - Main duties are as follows:
- You will be working in a chilled cold store packing, processing or moving meat products.
- Working in a cold store environment (between 0 - 4 degrees).
- Handling meat products (lamb and mutton).
- Our roles require you to be on your feet and mobile at all times as well as carrying out repetitive tasks and potentially lifting up to 25kg weights
Production Operative - Additional details:
- Shifts are Monday to Friday 0530am-0200pm or 0600am-0230pm Monday to Friday + overtime available regularly. Shift times depend on the area of work.
- Further development opportunities with pay grading structure depending on experience.
- Long-term work with permanent roles after 12 weeks.
- Vacancies are available across a number of departments.
Production Operative - Benefits:
- Starting pay rate is £13.08 per hour including production bonus.
- Further development opportunities with pay grading structure depending on experience (4x pay grades depending on experience).
- Once fully trained the pay could go up to £18.00 p/hour with OTE circa £40,000 per annum.
