Food Technologist Degree Apprenticeship

As a Food Technologist Apprentice, you are determined and driven to succeed, a strong communicator, and would relish the chance to playing your part in feeding the nation with Mr Kipling cakes!

Every day is different, and your main focus will be on helping us to make safe and quality Mr Kipling cakes for consumers. You’ll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement in quality standards and processes, while completing The Food Industry Technical Professional Degree Apprenticeship.

You're not the type to do the same thing every day. Instead, you will be keen to actively participate in trials and taste panels and be part of the factory team. In this role, you will be balancing study and work and will be communicating with people at all levels.

Working within the technical team, you'll be playing an active role developing your food technology expertise to ensure all products are manufactured to high company and external standards.

The Key Requirements...

  • Minimum of GCSE English, Maths, Science at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 A levels at Grade C or higher, or equivalent

Joining Premier Foods, you'll be part of a business working towards obtaining a BSc Hons in Food Science & Technology at Harper Adams University whilst gaining valuable work experience within the food industry.
