Salary: MPR - UPR (depending on skills and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Technology department. This is an excellent opportunity for either new entrants to the profession or experienced teachers looking to broaden their expertise. The role involves delivering engaging Food/Technology lessons from Key Stage 3 to GCSE level, contributing to our tradition of academic success, and supporting the holistic development of our students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 to GCSE level.
- Engage and inspire students, fostering a love for culinary arts and technology.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Contribute to the development of resources and schemes of work within the Technology department.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole school training events.
- Support the pastoral needs of students and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification and eligibility to teach in the UK.
- A degree or equivalent in Food Technology or a related subject.
- Experience in delivering Food Technology curriculum is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
