Position: Food Technology Teacher, full time

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and hands-on Food Technology lessons to secondary students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and critical thinking.
- Instruct students in safe and proper food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Evaluate and assess student progress through various methods, including practical assessments and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and teaching methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents/guardians about student performance and development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- QTS with a Food Technology specialism.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering a love for food and culinary skills in students.

Additional Requirements:
- Must have the right to work within the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Additional Assets:
- Experience with integrating technology into Food Technology lessons.
- Participation in relevant professional development opportunities.
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.
