Dairy and food ingredients have been integral to our clients identity since its inception and will remain so. A thorough grasp of food science technologies is vital to win the trust and confidence of business partners, with a particular focus on value addition for manufacturers. Frequent sourcing trips, sometimes in rural locations, processing centres and export hubs are a core responsibility. This recruitment seeks to broaden our active sphere of influence for both sourcing and sales. From time to time, as required, the position holder will be expected to actively support other members of the team in commercial duties.
Possession of fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, in addition to English, preferred.
Duties Include:
To generate new third party (external) trade, adding to our sales accounts in existing and new geographies, beyond existing Group interests.
To identify new manufacturing sources for supply of relevant materials, conduct physical premises audits, compliance screening, to incorporate within our clients supplier portfolio.
Work closely with our client's Group office network to leverage opportunities.
Identify where additional resource allocation is required to drive business development
Play a significant role in new projects seeking to land viable commercially additions to our current portfolio
To report and advise senior colleagues of trading opportunities.
