Football Coach

Torus Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Football Coach to join our dynamic team at FireFit Youth and Community Hub. This exciting part-time role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of young people by facilitating and delivering high-quality Football Coaching sessions.

As a Football Coach, you will be an integral part of the FireFit Youth Team, engaging with children and young people to support social skills, build confidence and inspire them through football. Your role will involve developing positive professional relationships, ensuring a safe and innovative coaching environment, and promoting the welfare and development of every young person.

Based in the heart of South Liverpool, FireFit, Youth and Community Hub is a cornerstone of the charity Torus Foundation. Its state-of-the-art facilities provide young people and the wider community, access to a wealth of sporting and wellbeing opportunities, seven days a week. Torus Foundation partners with people and places to create a platform for real, lasting change. At FireFit, we do this by unlocking opportunities to empower young people. Our services are designed in collaboration with our members and strategic partners, ensuring the facility inspires and empowers members and the broader community to reach their real potential.

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Deliver a diverse Football Coaching programme that caters to the needs of young people.
  • Work directly with young people to enhance their social skills, confidence, and aspirations.
  • Engage effectively with young people, encouraging group participation and new experiences.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a minimum of FA Level 2 in Coaching Football
  • Demonstrate ability to design and implement engaging and varied football sessions tailored to the needs of young people.
  • Establish positive relationships with a diverse group of young people promoting participation and development.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety practices.


PLEASE NOTE:

Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed;

  • Qualification certificate check
  • 2x Completed references
  • OH Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work
  • DBS check (if required for role)
  • Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s
