Footwear merchandiser

Juju is a leading designer and supplier of adult and children’s footwear for a number of UK High Street retailers. We deal with a vast product range which enables us to work with lots of different customers and supply from different parts of the world. Our main childrenswear products focuses more on seasonal lifestyle, from wellies for winter to a full range of summer and beach products with plenty of room for growth and expansion across the department. We work very closely with customers on a daily basis, covering everything from design collaboration to sales support and also work closely with our factories in both Asia and Europe, to ensure we are providing the best service in terms of each customers specific needs and requirements as well as on overall quality and value.

As well as supplying footwear for many well-known retail brands, we also own Juju the brand which has gone from strength to strength in recent years and grown in popularity and product range

We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join the team to manage key high end customer accounts and be involved in every step of the process

Merchandiser - The Role:

• The Merchandiser will need to work closely with the sales team to ensure correct pricing is agreed
• Working full time in our Northampton office
• To process the customer order once received, raising the appropriate purchase order with our supplier/factory, creating the critical path to ensure that the order is delivered on time to the customer
• Update customer progress reports on a weekly basis by liaising with the factories and customers directly and keeping the orders smoothly onwards to production
• To liaise with the technical team to ensure all the appropriate testing is carried out on the product.
• Agreeing production schedules with the factories to ensure the goods are delivered on time
• Having meetings and daily emails with the factories to ensure all packaging has been ordered for each order
• Liaising with the Technical Team to ensure all testing is completed
• Liaising with the customer to ensure the critical path is being adhered too

Merchandiser - The Candidate

• Previous supply merchandiser experience in the fashion industry to retail customers is sought after as the industry is fast paced. However not fully essential as a keen adaptable individual would soon thrive in this environment
• Self motivated Highly organised
• Ability to work under pressure & cope with tight deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Proactive approach
• Ensuring a smooth handover between departments
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• IT skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Merchandiser - The Package

• Competitive salary , dependant on experience
• 32 days holiday including all bank holidays
