Forest School Lead
Location: Creech St. Michael, United Kingdom
Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent position after 12 working weeks)
Start Date: September 2024
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
The school caters for children with ASD and SEMH, currently with around 40 kids on roll between the ages of 10-18. You would need to provide a calm, empathetic nature to support the teacher delivering the lessons. Classes are no more than 2 - 3 pupils, and there is a high staff to pupil ratio.
The school are looking for passionate individuals to join them in their journey to success in supporting pupils in their learning.

Role Expectations:
- Lead and implement engaging Forest School sessions, fostering outdoor learning experiences.
- Develop and maintain a safe and stimulating forest environment for students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate forest-based activities into the curriculum.
- Promote environmental awareness and appreciation among students.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 Forest School Leadership qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with groups of learners at Forest School or in an outdoor environment.
- Passion for outdoor education and a commitment to student well-being.
Salary: Up to £21,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
