As a Forest School Lead, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging outdoor learning sessions that inspire curiosity and a connection with nature.
Create a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore, experiment, and discover through hands-on activities.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate Forest School principles into the broader curriculum.
Manage and maintain the outdoor learning area, ensuring all resources and equipment are safe and accessible.
Encourage positive behavior and social development, using the natural environment as a context for learning.
Requirements:
Forest School Leadership Qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) or relevant experience.
Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
Commitment to child safety and safeguarding practices.
A passion for outdoor learning and a creative approach to education.
