Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move, stack, and load materials within the warehouse or production area
- Load and unload trucks or trailers using the forklift as required
- Ensure accuracy and quality of goods received and dispatched
- Conduct regular checks to maintain the forklift's functionality and report any defects to the maintenance team
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, such as picking, packing, and stocktaking
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
- Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage time and tasks
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects when required
- A reliable and punctual work ethic, with the ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary
- A commitment to following health and safety guidelines and understanding of warehouse operations
