Forklift Driver/ Production Operative

Circa 32,100 - 4 on 4 off- 2 days 2 nights 12 hour shifts.

Randstad Engineering are currently looking for Production Operatives for an impressive client of ours. They are an Energy from Waste business that specialises in converting non-recyclable waste into renewable energy. Reporting in to the shift manager, as a level 2 operative, working inside the materials processing facility, your job will cover the following tasks:
- Operating plant and process machinery.
- Loading bales into plant machinery
- Loading finished goods onto vehicles.
- Working inside the Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and loading finished goods into bags and booking
- Moving and emptying bins from the MRF
- Using computer systems to dispatch loads
- Carrying out cleaning, basic maintenance tasks and basic fault finding
You will have opportunities to develop and multi-skill your skills in order to progress into a level 3 position which comes with fantastic financial rewards.
To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or process facility.
- A willingness to assist where necessary- machinery operation, industrial cleaning, loading/unloading
- A willingness to develop your career and contribute to a reputable business.
- Previous FLT (Forklift) experience, beneficial.
