Job Title: FORK LIFT DRIVER
- Week working hours: @ 42.50 & 47.50
- Hours of work: SHIFT – ROTATIONAL
- (DAYS & EVENINGS ONLY)
- WEEK 1: 6.00am – 2.30pm
- WEEK 2: 2.00pm – 10.30pm (Friday 12pm – 8pm)
- HOURLY RATE: £12.00 & £12.53
- Holiday Pay: £1.44 per hour worked
- NEST Pension Scheme: 3%
Daily duties:-
Our Client is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas
- Move materials within the warehouse using a forklift
- Stack and organize products in designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with inventory management by accurately documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a COUNTERBALANCE Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proficient in operating warehouse management systems
- Strong knowledge of materials handling procedures
- Basic mathematics skills for inventory management purposes
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift
- Experience in shipping and receiving is a plus

Essential Criteria:-
· 2 YEARS RECENT EXPERIENCE OF DRIVING COUNTERBLANCE FORK LIFT.
· Computer knowledge.
· Stores & ORDER PICKING experience.
· Experience of wrapping and boxing up.
