Forklift Operative

Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client basedin Langport. They are looking for Forklift Operativeto join a friendly team. Temp - Perm position to start as soon as possible.

Operating forklift to support production activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating forklift to maintain efficiency and food safety standards.
• Adhering to site Health and Safety regulations while operating the forklift.
• Keeping the yard and equipment organised and clean.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels in the yard.
• Recording product information accurately using the scale system.
• Properly disposing of materials as required.
• Safely loading trailers for transport.
• Effective communication with abattoir management and other staff members on site.

Knowledge and Experience: Essential:

• Valid forklift certification
• Basic computer skills
• Eagerness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team

Desirable:

• Previous forklift experience

Schedule:

• Day shift-
• Monday to Friday
• 6am to Finish, with flexibility to meet business needs. Possibility of overtime as well.

Rate: £13.00 per hour
