Forklift Truck Driver (Counterbalance)

Due to continued success, future business growth and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our skilled team based in Irvine, Scotland.

Working days and hours are Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm.

The Role

Key duties and requirements

Day to day duties will include but not be limited to;

• Moving raw materials and the completed product around the production facility
• Picking stock from the yard and stores, preparing for deliveries.
• Loading and offloading lorries.
• General housekeeping of the yard and factory whist also ensuring adherence with current health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate

To be successful as our Forklift Truck Driver, you will hold previous experience of working within a similar role and hold a valid Counterbalance licence.

You will also possess;

• Previous experience of operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Confidence in moving difficult loads on the Forklift such as timber roof trusses.
• ·Ability to work safely within the yard and factory whilst heavy machinery is being operated.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Comb lift experience is desirable yet not essential.
