Are you confident in becoming the first point of contact in relation to Rent Arrears and debt management?

Sellick Partnership are recruiting on behalf of a Housing organisation based in Nottinghamshire for a Former Rent Arrears specialist. The ideal candidate will be ready to join the office-based team with a good knowledge of tenancy, rents and income.

Responsibilities of the Former Rent Arrears Officer include, but may not be limited to:

• Providing an effective and customer focused former tenant debt collection service
• Offering advice, support and expertise to colleagues relating to former debt and arrears matters for the Company
• Ensuring the effective recovery of outstanding former tenant & leaseholder arrears and debts
• Contacting and meeting with former tenants to discuss arrears and advise, help and support them to pay off their debts
• Monitoring the former debt performance management, including the writing of management information reports and providing detailed statistical analysis
• Responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships and liaison with partner debt collection agencies

The Successful Rents person will have:

• Knowledge of legislation and best practice in relation to debt recovery
• Proficient experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
