We're looking for local families to foster MK children and we can help you every step of the way.
The fostering team at Milton Keynes City Council are in need of more local carers to care for Milton Keynes children to keep them in their local community, keeping their schooling, friends and family as consistent as possible as currently a significant number are placed outside of Milton Keynes with Independent Fostering Agencies meaning they are leaving everything they know behind.
If you're over 21, have a spare room and can offer a safe, happy and supportive home to a child or young person, please get in touch.
As a newly qualified foster carer you could be paid between GBP332 and GBP415 a week tax-free for one child equivalent to GBP17,264 -GBP21,580 a year.
If you've fostered before or have significant childcare experience you could be paid between GBP377 and GBP460 per week tax-free for one child - equivalent to GBP19,604 -GBP23,920 a year.
If you foster more than one child you could be paid more for fostering more than one child. For example, if you foster two children you could be paid a minimum of GBP664 a week tax-free - equivalent to GBP34,528 a year.
You will get a regular income if you foster with us because we always have children who need a home.
