FP&A Associate - Real Estate - OUR CLIENT are an ambitious player in the residential space and are well capitalised with strong PE backing. Their current portfolio and pipeline is targeting the £1 Billion mark as they build and develop new units across the country, helping to meet market demand for high-quality and flexible properties. As a result, our Client are looking for an ambitious FP&A professional to join a rapidly growing business and help further establish its FP&A function.
THE ROLE responsibilities for the FP&A Associate will include:
- Assisting the Director of Finance in the running of the FP&A function.
- Analysing business activities, month-end results and budgets against KPIs and reporting.
- Building and updating reporting dashboards.
- Maintaining an integrated forecasting and business planning process.
- Running the annual budget process.
- Conducting regular P&L and cash flow reforecasts.
- Producing fully supported funding forecasts and requests for capital drawdowns.
- Preparing timely and accurate reporting on a periodic and ad hoc basis.
- Providing input to system and process setup as part of the ongoing platform improvements.
- Implementation including setup, model building and training on FP&A and reporting platform.
- Providing input into business models and supplying qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support strategic choices.
- Working collaboratively across the business applying rigor and challenge.
- Working on ad hoc projects as required.
THE PERSON requirements for the FP&A Associate are:
- Educated to University degree with a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Previous experience working in the FP&A function for a medium / large enterprise.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Prior experience of PowerBi preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet continuous deadlines.
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written English.
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Have a desire to progress within a business that will scale rapidly and create further career opportunities.
- Have a desire to learn, develop and have a 'can-do' attitude to step-up to support the team and business where required.
