Our fantastic Finance team are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to support the financial performance of our propertybusiness, providing quality analysis and challenge to optimise our returns in an engaging and enthusiastic team based in our Bristol office.
Working alongside two other FP&A managers responsible for Ops and Corporate FP&A, the role will deliver Group level planning and analysis for Exec, Boards and performance teams. You will ensure consistency of Group financial plans with a\"single Unite plan\" mindset. Reportingto Head of Group FP&A, you will be responsible for two direct reports and will workclosely with our Portfolio Management team.
What you`ll be doing
Group financial plans (NTA, LTV% and net debt:EBITDA) - in year, one year, five year viewsExec monthly financial performance updates (plus Portfolio & Growth performance team alignment)Finance partnering with the Fund Management function (USAF and LSAV)Investor relations external announcements i.e. NTA movementsGroup incentive scheme performance metrics (NTA and TAR)Analysis relating to ad hoc strategic decisions e.g. transformation, corporate finance transactionsManage the delivery of the NTA budget and regular reforecasts in collaboration with the Portfolio management team, the rest of the FP&A team and other Finance stakeholdersCommunicate and collaborate with other members of the FP&A team to ensure all commercial aspects of any Property activity are considered and therefore the best possible finance support is provided to Portfolio and Growth performance teamsSupport financial and operational accountability with the Portfolio and Growth performance teams by ensuring timely delivery of financial and operational performance information, and supporting them with analysis, insight, performance measurement and cost controlSupport the decision making of the business through timely, relevant and concise financial analysis and Group impactsMaintain a good working knowledge of other areas of the business, and activities of our competitors; keep up to date with trends and developments within own professional areaEffective line management of team of two business partners, including managing performance, consistent use of 1-1 meetings, identifying personal development needs and supporting and coaching
What we`re looking for in you
Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with substantial post qualification experience gained within a commercial environmentExperience of working in Oracle EPM preferredExcellent communications skills including inspiring trust and influencing; communicating technical financial information in a clear and commercial manner; adapting style and content for different audiences; and demonstrating a confident, credible and accomplished presentation style.Flexible and capable of undertaking travel to London and other UK locations on a regular basisEvidence of working in a fast paced, high change environment and able to manage multiple demands effectively whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy, quality and attention to detail.An ability to develop effective working relationships with senior internal and external business stakeholdersAbility to provide challenge and hold to account commercial teams in order to drive business performanceExcellent analytical skillsThe ability to understand, empathise with and deliver against customer needsPossesses and promotes a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt swiftly and a willingness to undertake challenging tasks
