SalarytwentyAI are supporting a significant programme of transformation within a PE backed technology business who specialise in investments and financial services. This client has experienced significant acquisitive growth through ongoing M&A within their value creation roadmap, which has brought about the transformation opportunity and enabled a transformation office to be established.
Within the multiple in-flight programmes there is currently minimal financial reporting, control and Analysis. Each programme and project workstream require traditional project accounting, budget oversight, financial modelling, alongside various ad-hoc requirements.
To achieve this the business require the set up of fit for purpose, data centric, financial infrastructure and dashboarding that can report real time accurate and accessible insights and analytics, that are palatable to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
The requirement brings together expert level knowledge of both finance and data, strong technical skill to implement tools (removing Excel based reliance), knowledge of visualisation tools (PowerBI) and a strong commercial acumen to help non-financial stakeholder groups see material gains from the enhanced understanding and decision support.
This project requires a Director level Consultant with the necessary finance, data and commercial background for initially 6 months. The vision is to build something where all stakeholders can see everything simplistically in PowerBI. Over time the tool should be able to incorporate wider IT/Business projects. Once built, the consultant should be able to pass this over to the BAU team members within the function.
Consultants must also be familiar with a Private Equity backed landscape and have the ability to knock down walls, effect change and manage multiple executive level relationships.
