Job description

Our Fraud Technician helps to protect our business, partners and customers against fraudulent activity. You will support our Fraud Team by identifying and reducing fraudulent activity.

How will you do this?

Joining our Technical team, you will help to detect, prevent and protect our business against any fraudulent activity that could cause financial damage, damage to relationships and our reputation.

A good communicator, you will action enquiries from customers, third parties, insurers and the wider business in a timely manner. You will also manage and record enquiries from insurers, the network and support services ensuring that actions and answers are completed and provided. You will also review and verify a wide range of customer documents (driving licences, V5, utility bills etc) to ensure they are genuine and valid.

Using your experience, you will apply your specialist and technical knowledge in order to support your colleagues and the wider business with escalated investigations and policies of high risk. You will also assist fraud investigators when required in investigations, identifying trends, analysis and problem solving, sharing where necessary the results.

With a data driven approach, you will record and produce MI for the fraud team ensuring it is accurately completed, relevant and clearly presented. Always diligent, you ensure that all agreed service standards and deadlines for activities included but not limited to investigations, cancellations, voidance, validation, CVS alerts, delegated authorities and chargeback claims are adhered to.

This is a great opportunity to join a company that is continually growing and to really make the role your own.
