Digital Content Creator

Temporary 3 month contract

40 hrs per month - £21ph

Key Responsibilities for Digital Content Creator

· To support the Marketing Manager with the implementation of the Social Media

Strategy.

· To engage with WCT staff to identify marketing needs and to plan ahead accordingly

· To create digital assets in line with WCT Brand Guidelines including info graphics, promotional graphics, video and photography

· To engage proactively on social media promoting and advocating WCT services, events and good news

· To maintain and further develop an engaged social media audience

· To create monthly Newsletters to send internally and externally

· To create analysis of progress made via all WCT online channels

Skills and experience needed for the Digital Creator Role

Experience- essential

· Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a creative digital role

· Have an excellent understanding of how Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Tik Tok perform, evidenced by example work

· Have experience in increasing an online following and developing engagement

· Clear understanding of Marketing Ethics and online safety

· Competent in using Microsoft Office and IT proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Competent in using creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop and Canva

· Competent in using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite

· Excellent organisational and planning skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

· Willingness to be flexible and able to work without close supervision

· Able to act in a professional manner with integrity at all times, understanding and adhering to professional boundaries

· Experience and understanding of adhering to GDPR and Safeguarding principles

· A hands-on approach and a commitment to provide a high quality, client focused service.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Commitment to WCT values and willing to act as a role models.

· Strong IT skills, including data analysis

· Ability to prioritise own workload and to work effectively under pressure.

Experience – desirable

  • Experience of working within the Charity sector.
  • Have access to own vehicle and business insurance for travelling between sites.
  • Experience with asset based community development ethos or work practices.
