Freelance Maths Tutor

Are you a qualified teacher looking for change?

We are looking for a qualified and experienced maths teacher to provide in person tuition at our centre in Harrogate.

About us

Based in central Harrogate, close to local transport links, we provide English and maths tuition for children in Years 3 to Year 11, after school.

New to Harrogate, our centre takes a fun and engaging approach to learning. We teach our students in small groups of no more than 6 and take pride in the high standard of teaching we provide.

We want passionate teachers who inspire our young people and have a lasting and positive impact on their learning journey.

We are open from 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Various days are available.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• You must have Qualified Teacher Status with PGCE
• Be able to teach to maths GCSE level as a minimum
• Strong knowledge of the the subject, current curriculum and exam framework.
• You must have a minimum of 2 years' recent experience of teaching in UK schools.
• All candidates will be required to undergo a DBS Check.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £35.00 per hour
