Freelance Social Media Designer

Social Media Designer required to design paid advertising adverts for client accounts for a growing digital marketing agency with 15+ clients in the UK home improvement industry.

Position Overview:
As a Social Media Advert Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and producing eye-catching advertisements for various Social Media platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into visually stunning ads that resonate with our target audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a meaningful impact on our brand's digital presence.

Responsibilities:

• Design engaging and visually appealing advertisements for Social Media platforms such as Facebook & Instagram
• Collaborate with paid ads team to develop concepts and ideas for ad campaigns that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Create graphics, and other multimedia elements to enhance ad content and maximise audience engagement.
• Ensure that all ads adhere to platform-specific guidelines and dimensions for optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media advertising design, incorporating innovative techniques and technologies into ad campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1-2+ years) working as a graphic designer or Social Media Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in Social Media advertising.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva & Photoshop. Figma is a bonus.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling designs.
• Knowledge of Social Media platforms and their advertising capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback.
