SalaryPremier Work Support are seeking a permanent Road Freight Operator for a growing Logistics company in Erith.
Key Responsibilities for the Road Freight Operator:
- Handling both European and Baltic services.
- Coordinate and manage the movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national.
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates to customers.
- Address any issues or delays promptly and implement effective solutions.
Essential
- At least 1 years' international road freight experience.
- Experience with Customs paperwork.
- Experience with Baltic imports/exports would be desirable.
- Numerate and capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
- Excellent customer service skills.
This is a Monday- Friday role, covering 40 hours per week.
