French Language Assistant (Fixed-Term)
Commencing September 2024 – July 2025
The Language Assistant’s role is primarily to support the French department and their work with pupils. This includes helping develop pupils’ skills in general conversation, working on accurate pronunciation, fluency and idiom. The Language Assistant will also help deliver sessions on target language culture, and aid with reinforcement of topics seen in class.
The Language Assistant must be a French speaker. Experience of teaching a language with either young people or adults is desirable.
Salary: Competitive and in line with the British Council.
The role is term-time only (34 weeks), and is part-time: 18 hours per week.
The candidate must have EU Settled Status.
