BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

We have a requirement for a Front End Developer with React experience to join a project working for a Central Government client.


Key skills and experience needed:


  • Demonstrable experience using React and Typescript, HTML/CSS, Javascript
  • Demonstrable experience in Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban etc)
  • Test, debug, and build code that works across multiple browsers but primarily Chrome and Edge
  • A good understanding of web design and user experience principles. Experience of the HM Gov GDS Open Standards would be an advantage
  • Have knowledge W3C and accessibility standards.
  • Experience of developing database-driven web applications. Experience of json, Postgres, Kuberentes, Docker and Jenkins would be an advantage
  • Experience of developing using AWS tooling and environments
  • Experience of dealing with cross-browser compatibility primarily for desktop platforms
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team and learn from colleagues
  • A clear communicator with strong verbal and written skills
