Front Of House Assistant

Join the Castle Theatre team, providing excellent and friendly customer service in a busy theatre setting, ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable and positive experience. You will be able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, in a fast paced environment whilst providing a warm and welcoming service.

Front of House Assistants are required to:

• Work on the bar, serving customers including organising interval drinks, selling merchandise, general cleaning and restocking of the bar and rotating stock to reduce waste.
• Steward the performances including greeting customers, checking tickets, directing the customer to their seats and being inside the auditorium during show times to ensure all safety measures are upheld.
• To assist in maintaining the general appearance and tidiness of all the public areas including the auditorium/cinema, before, during and after performances.

Bar experience desirable, but not essential. All training will be provided.

• July/ August start. Mostly weekend and evening work available. An average shift can vary between 3-5 hours long. 
• This is a zero hour contract at NMW rate. 
• 6 month probabtion period.
