About the role:
- The role of our Porters is to welcome and engage with our guests through every step of their stay, delivering an exceptional guest experience, by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do.
- Porters will demonstrate their knowledge of the hotel & local area to provide thoughtful recommendations to tailor to the guests stay and enhance their experience, helping to create magical memories.
- Build and maintain relationships within the Front office team and other departments to ensure communication is clear and be aware of all the days activities.
- Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About you:
- To be considered for this role you will have knowledge and experience of working in a luxury four or five star hotel or a background in a very customer focused role.
- Be passionate about going above and beyond for our guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate hotel products and facilities.
- Local knowledge of the surrounding area and places of interest would be advantageous.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
- Through your enthusiasm and willing approach, you will demonstrate how you find solutions to any scenario.
- Act calmly and professionally, maintaining an outwardly positive attitude even when under pressure.
- Due to the location of our hotel you will be required to have your own means of transport to reliably commute, or live locally to be able to walk / cycle.

- A competitive salary package of £22,996.48 per year, additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate of £13.82 plus a share of service charge.
- This is a Part-Time role working 4 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 32 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
