We are seeking friendly and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front of House Staff at our brand new Peri Peri chicken restaurant in Dundee. As a member of the Front of House team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our valued guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, provide menu recommendations, and offer assistance throughout their dining experience, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary requirements are properly noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, following established cash handling procedures.
Assist in delivering food and beverages to tables, ensuring correct orders, and providing timely service while maintaining a clean and organised dining area.
Inform customers about special offers, promotions, and upselling opportunities, effectively enhancing the customer experience and maximising sales.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards.
Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, cooking methods, and any changes or additions to the menu, ensuring accurate information is provided to customers.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and providing efficient and accurate service.
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well within a team environment, assisting colleagues when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities, and adjust to peak dining hours.
Proactive approach to resolving customer issues or concerns, seeking assistance from supervisors when needed.
Neat and presentable appearance, adhering to the restaurant's uniform policy.
Previous experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Willingness to learn and adapt is important.
